Choir

The school choir is made up of children from Years 3-6.  Everyone is entitled to join the group and 50 children are currently making the most of this opportunity.  The choir rehearse on Wednesdays after school and sing a wide range of songs from 1920s right through to brand new compositions.

The children in the choir are all committed and have represented the school during the Autumn Term 2006 at the Bideford Town Fair-Trade Celebration evening, late night shopping at Atlantic Village Outlet Centre, the ‘Switching-on’ of the Christmas Lights in Bideford, the Schools’ Christian Aid Carol Concert and North Devon Hospice’s Light Up a Life at the Bideford pannier Market.  They have also been to a local day centre and a residential complex for the elderly to perform a range of songs.

During Spring 2007 the choir are working towards a Musical which they will perform in conjunction with the drama club at the end of the term.
