Drumming Club

Drumming club for KS2 children meets on a Monday break time. There are 38 members regularly attending at present. We use Djembe drums in an African drumming style. During the Christmas period the drumming club accompanied the choir in performing at both Atlantic Village Shopping Centre and Springfield Day Care Centre for the Elderly, in Bideford. They all thoroughly enjoyed having the opportunity to perform to the public. Currently the drummers are working in small groups to compose and practise some new rhythms.
