Choir
Members of St. Mary’s Choir braved the elements on the afternoon of Saturday 28th November when we sang Christmas Carols with the Bideford Town Band outside the Baptist Church on Mill Street. This was part of the switching on of the lights celebrations. Merlin and Titan the Robot also attended the celebrations.
Our school choir is open to children from Years 3-6 and is always a very popular club. We encourage all children to enjoy singing and any child who wishes to join is made welcome. The choir are a high profile club within the school performing in concerts and church services within the school, as well as at local shopping centres, in the annual Light up a Life service for the North Devon Hospice, the switching on of the Christmas Lights in Bideford and at day care centres, the hospital and sheltered housing, for the elderly.

Each year the choir put on a performance with the Drama Club to create a piece of musical theatre which needs to be seen to be believed! The last two years have seen musicals based around characters from fairy tales and this year we have successfully performed an abridged version of Joseph.
