Recorder Club
Spring Term Update
The children in recorder club have learnt 5 different notes and used these to play a variety of tunes. They are moving on to play a classical piece by the composer Gossec which they will be performing in the Summer Concert.
Recorder Club will be mainly for beginners this year (although an advanced group will be meeting one lunchtime). The children will learn how to blow into a recorder correctly and the fingering for the first notes. We will use a variety of simple rhymes and songs at first followed by some more complex classical pieces which the children will perform in assembly.
