Recorder Club
Recorder club is made up of a mixture of KS1 and KS2 children of varying levels of experience. The children work in small groups of similar level children and have been learning to read music and progressing at their own speed and at different levels.
All of the children who started with us in September can now read simple music and play different tunes on the recorder. The more experienced children are now playing duets and more difficult pieces of music.
We are all working towards a performance piece for the summer concert that it split into different parts so all the children are able to play a part. This is great experience for them to play as part of an ensemble and will be a lovely way of showing off all of their hard work this year.
