Presently every classroom has a parent classroom buddy. They help out in the school and provide tea, coffee and refreshments after the class assemblies and are a point of contact for all new children and parents to the school.

The PFSM held a Family Bingo Night on Friday 12th November. Everyone who attended had a fantastic evening, with refreshments, popcorn, sweets and hot dogs.
The members of the PFSM would like to thank everyone who came and supported them and also a huge thank you to everyone who helped out on the night and made it so successful. The evening raised a fantastic £233.75.
Congratulations to everyone who won prizes both on the bingo and the raffle.
Throughout the school year the committee organise and run many fund raising events. So far this school year, they have raised in the Autumn term, £1,600.00 from Bingo nights, Christmas Fayre, Christmas Disco and a chocolate hunt. In the Spring term they have raised £1,027.00 from Easter Bingo, a Quiz night, the Easter Disco and an Easter chocolate hunt. In the Summer term they have raised £150.00 from the Ladies night and are expecting to raise £300 from the sponsored cycle, between £400 - £500 from the Summer disco and between £1,000 - £1,500 from the Summer Fayre.
The school has benefitted greatly from these events. So far we have been brought, Staging and Lighting, Bird Hide roof, A box camera for the environmental club, KS1 & foundation bikes and tricycles and blackout blinds for the school hall. They have also pledged £3000 towards the improvement of the school's playgrounds.
